I don’t know about you guys, but it is hard to dress up in the cold! Oftentimes I find myself bundling up so much that I look like a marshmallow! (Christmas Story anyone?) Well, I decided to beat the cold and find some classy and warm clothes for this winter. Inspire your closet with these essentials for your minimalist winter wardrobe!

  1. Start with a a beautiful base. This dress is simple, easy, warm, and elegant. Grab this dress for the perfect go-to item in your closet. I personally love the emerald green. It is a very eye catching piece, plus it fit very nicely. I don’t like the dresses that feel like a bag was thrown over your head, this one really exceeded my expectations! It fit nicely and was very warm.

2. Pair that dress with a sophisticated black velvet blazer by Calvin Klein.

In all honesty, I was skeptical of the blazer. But loved it once I tried it on! I feel it adds the perfect amount of ‘classy’ to the look, especially the gold buttons! They add a nice, sophisticated touch.

3. No outfit is complete without the perfect shoe. A high quality Dr. Scholls bootie wedge. Comfort, quality, and super cute.

Definitely my favorite part of the outfit. These booties are so adorable! What’s more is they felt awesome to wear! I loved them! I would recommend going half a size up if you don’t have thin socks though.

4. Wrap it all up with a leopard print scarf. The perfect accent to your winter wardrobe.

This really was the perfect accent to my outfit! I love it and would highly recommend. The material is a silky and feels really nice.

Kind of cheesy, a lot of fun, but mostly just happy.
