Sweet and Savory Salmon

My daughter doesn’t eat fish often, but when she does it is because we prepared it with this recipe. This is my favorite salmon recipe and tastes delicious! The original recipe comes from the back of the Members Mark Salmon bag from Sam’s Club, we have adapted the recipe over the years into something our family really loves. Sweet and Savory Salmon

1/2 Cup Soy Sauce

2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

2 Whole Lemons

2Tbsp Grated Fresh Garlic

2 Tbsp Fresh Ginger

1 1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar

1/2 Tbsp Ground Black Pepper

2Tbsp Chopped Green Onion

4 Salmon Fillets


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar. Cook at a low heat for five minutes on stove top.

Place the salmon fillets in baking pan and soak both sides with sauce. Sprinkle the black pepper on top.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork. Baste fillets at least once with sauce while cooking and drizzle with remaining sauce when finished. Garnish with green onions and brown sugar if desired.
